Alot of colour... (for me)

Looking at litchenstein's work I was able to acheive the worried look on my girls face but also I drew influence from his bright reds yellows and blues.

These colours are very dramatic and possibly over-dramatic and also this obsession with tabloid poiontless news and information is now becoming a major topic in todays pop culture.

Using four plates 1) etching 2) asatate for yellow and red mono 3) asatate for blue mono 4) drypint on asatate for text I was able to create the first print you see the other with less plates.
Again the text is playing on the over dramatic headlines you find this particular text was based on a headline I read about Jennifer Aniston and originally read JENS PATHETIC. The text is basically mocking the girl for being so obseesed with this news.
